Youth and Adolescent Health

Adolescents have the potential to drive the socio-economic development if the right investments are made for their empowerment to enable them explore possibilities and fulfill their potential. Even with this recognition, many adolescents’ especially adolescent girls are denied the investments and opportunities they require to realize their full potential. For many adolescent girls and young women, the biological onset of adolescence brings not only changes to their bodies but also new vulnerabilities particularly in the areas of sexuality, marriage and child bearing. will utilize a community based package targeting in and out of school adolescent girls and young women and their families aged 10-24 years to reduce their HIV incidence.
