Anitah Nassuna

Sex: Female. Year of Birth 2006 (10 Years)

Anitah is a young, curious and lovely girl. Her currently biggest wish is to attend school regularly. Unlikely there are two factors who limit her from this dream; poverty and health issues. Anitah`s parents work hard to afford at least regular meals and school attendance. Anyway their income is little, (less than 2 Euros a day) which means they have to decide between food on the table and the payment of school fees. Due to that, Anitah misses half of the lessons in school.  In addition she is suffering from sickle cell anemia. Due to that, her immune system is prone to infections and organ damages.  While many home visits we found Anitah withdrawn and sad. She reported that her parents do not see the pain she is going through and she often feels neglected. Her parents are also overstressed, yet they can not afford surgery or modern medication.  If you want to exculpate the family and give Anitah the chance of proper education, whereby she can be surrounded by her friends, click “Sponsor me”.
